Fishing Club
While Big Run Lake is a watershed lake, one must obtain a permit to cross the property of Hutton-Loyd Tree Farm for access. The fishing club started in 1996 and has grown to 43 members from Fleming County and other surrounding counties. Membership in the club is an annual fee with ½ of the proceeds contributed back into projects for the lake. Some of the projects done in the past include sinking of fish habitat, stocking of Grass Carp, stocking channel catfish, building a floating dock and creating parking and picnic space. All Kentucky fish and wildlife rules and regulations apply.
